The demands on the complexity of plastic parts are constantly increasing. High demands on design, haptics and accuracy of fit require small manufacturing tolerances. Product development cycles from prototype to series production are becoming shorter all the time. State-of-the-art 3D laser measurement systems ensure efficient control and documentation of all parts and assemblies.

MEASUREMENT

THREE-DIMENSIONAL DIGITIZING
We perform 3D digitizing of arbitrarily shaped objects for you. The generated point clouds are transferred in ASCII format.

REVERSE ENGINEERING
Based on the point clouds generated during scanning, we perform reverse engineering. You receive the generated CAD data in IGES or VDA-FS formats.

RAPID PROTOTYPING / ANIMATION
The point clouds generated during scanning are polygonized (triangle meshing). The created data are output in STL, DXF or OBJ formats.

CAQ – COMPUTER-AIDED QUALITY ASSURANCE
The point clouds of an object generated during scanning are overlaid with given CAD data. The spatial deviations can be displayed in various ways:

– in the form of false color difference images
– as a numerical representation of the target-actual deviations in fixed defined measuring points
– as a comparison of nominal and actual contours along arbitrary sections through the measured object

The measurement results are output in the form of screenshots or as an original 3D data set with associated viewer for spatial viewing of the data on the PC.
