The requirements for the complexities of plastic parts are constantly increasing. High demands on design, feel and fit accuracy require small manufacturing tolerances. Product development cycles are becoming shorter and shorter from the prototype to series production. The most modern 3D-laser measurement systems ensure an efficient control and documentation of all parts and assemblies.
We perform the 3D digitalisation of objects in any shape for you. The point clouds are transferred in ASCII format.
We perform reverse engineering based on point clouds generated during the scanning. You receive the CAD data created in IGES or VDA-FS formats.
RAPID PROTOTYPING / ANIMATION
The point clouds generated during scanning are polygonised (triangulation). The data created is output in STL, DXF or OBJ formats.
CAQ - COMPUTER AIDED QUALITY ASSURANCE
The point clouds of an object generated while scanning an object is superimposed with specified CAD data. The spatial deviation can be represented in different modalities:
• in the form of false colour difference images
• as a numerical representation of the target/actual variations in defined measuring points
• as a comparison of target to actual contours along cuts of any shape through the measuring object
The measurement results are issued in the form of screen shots or as an original 3D data set with the associated viewer for spatial viewing of the data on the PC.
